Well I finally did it! I’ve been waiting and waiting, or I guess you can say procrastinating to update my family room wall with new photos of my kids. I knew what I wanted, it was just a matter of picking the sizes, styles and colors. I’m really bad with making decisions and I didn’t want to mess this up. Before I could even order, I had to submit some paperwork to get approved to become a vendor for Organic Bloom Frames. Once accepted, I knew the pressure was on since I wanted to offer these to my clients. And how can I offer them if I don’t have something in person to view. I’m kind of OCD so that made this ten times harder to decide. I originally wanted three different styles but once I realized the end frames wouldn’t be the same exact size, I knew I had to keep the end frames the same style, told you I was OCD! I also knew I wanted the middle frame to really stand out literally and figuratively. So you’ll notice the middle frame is quite large and it’s what Organic Bloom calls a Twin Frame, meaning they layer the same style frame on top of the bigger one, just smaller in size. It gives it a 2-D effect if you will. The next big decision was colors. Again ,with the OCD I knew I wanted the end frames to match but I wanted the middle frame to stand out a bit. Organic Bloom just happened to have the exact same color as my wall paint. So that was a no brainer. I told you it took a lot of thought, well at least for someone who has OCD hehe. I just threw these photos in the frames. I’m going to update the middle picture of my girls once the weather gets nice. I really don’t want a “holiday” photo in there. But it was the most recent picture I have of them. You’ll notice the end one is empty. That’s because again, I’m waiting for the weather to break for good, and take my newly four year old out for some four year old portraits. I normally would wait until this project was 100% complete, but I’m so excited, I just couldn’t wait. Oh and the last image is just a close up of what the frames look like. The edges have that worn, rustic look to them. You can get the option of getting a “glaze” overlay on the frames. I picked brown glaze, so you’ll notice where the worn parts would be natural color wood, it has a brown tint over the wood. I figured it was fitting since the frames were of brown tones. Yes, they look black in the pictures, but all three are espresso (dark brown) and the top twin frame is metallic taupe. So without further ado here is the end result, the middle frame is a 20×20 and the ends are 12×16′s. Remember bigger is better!
Oh and here is the website if you’re interested in viewing the 16 different styles they have and the many, many colors they have to choose from. http://theorganicbloom.com/
